Losing access to your account is inconvenient rather than serious. The fix is usually one of a few things, and it is worth working through them in order rather than guessing repeatedly.
Stop guessing first
Repeated failed attempts can trigger a temporary lock, which turns a two-minute problem into a longer one. After the second failure, use the reset route instead of trying again.
The reset route
Password recovery on Faberlic's site works the way it does almost everywhere: you request a reset, confirm your identity through the contact details attached to your account, and set a new password.
Two things determine whether this works:
- You still have access to the email or phone number the account was registered with. If not, self-service reset will not help and you need support
- You are on the official site. Type the address yourself. A password reset form is precisely what a fraudulent lookalike site wants you to fill in, so never reach one from a link in a message
If the reset message does not arrive within a few minutes, check spam before requesting another. Requesting several in a row sometimes invalidates the earlier ones.
When it is not the password
People assume a password problem when it is often something else:
- The consultant number is mistyped. These are long. Copy and paste rather than typing
- You are on the wrong site, or on a regional version that is not where your account lives
- The account was never fully activated, which happens when registration was interrupted
Check these before concluding the password is wrong.
When to contact support
Go to Faberlic's own support if you no longer have access to the registered email or phone, if the account appears locked, or if the reset simply does not arrive after two attempts.
Your sponsor cannot help with this. Sponsors explain how things work; they have no access to your account and no ability to reset anything. Anyone who offers to "sort out" your password for you should be treated with suspicion — nobody legitimate needs your credentials.
Afterwards
Set a password you have not used elsewhere, and save your consultant number somewhere permanent. Most people who lose access a second time do so because the number was only ever stored in a chat thread.
For what the account does once you are back in, see the business section.
