Face care is the largest category in the Faberlic catalogue, and the one the company was built on. Navigating it is easier with a map than with a product list.

How it is organised

Three overlapping axes:

By direction — the oxygen line (Aquaftem, the brand's own technology since the late 1990s) and Botanica (plant extracts) are the two main series, with smaller directions alongside including retinol-based products.

By step — cleansing, toning, treatment, moisturising, eye care, masks.

By concernskin type, age band, specific issues.

Any given product sits at the intersection of all three, which is why the category looks larger than it is.

What a complete routine actually needs

Fewer products than the catalogue implies:

Morning: cleanser → moisturiser → sun protection.

Evening: makeup removal → cleanser → moisturiser.

That is complete. Serums, toners, eye creams and masks are optional additions with smaller returns, worth adding one at a time when you have a reason.

Navigating it

  1. Establish your skin type first. This determines texture, and texture determines comfort more than any other variable
  2. Choose a direction — oxygen or Botanica — based on preference, not on claims
  3. Start with a moisturiser, the product you will use twice daily and can judge most fairly
  4. Add one product at a time, two weeks apart

What the range does not include

Sun protection is the gap to check. Whatever the catalogue offers, this is the step with the strongest evidence behind it, and it should be in your routine whether or not it comes from here. Check the current catalogue for what is available.

Treatment for skin conditions. Acne, rosacea and eczema are medical, and the whole cosmetic category — any brand — manages ordinary skin rather than treating them.

Practical notes

The catalogue reissues roughly every three weeks, so specific products rotate. If you find something that suits you, note the exact name, because it may not be there next campaign.

Compositions and the current line-up are in the Faberlic catalogue.
