One tube, two incompatible jobs. A Faberlic concealer is asked to brighten under the eyes and to cover a spot on the chin — and those need different shades. Buying one product for both is the single most common reason a concealer looks wrong.

Under the eye: half a shade lighter
The skin there is naturally darker, so the aim is to lift it back to neutral.
Work out your foundation shade, then go half a step to one step lighter. Check the undertone as well: if your shadows read blue, a peach or salmon-toned concealer cancels them; a pure grey-beige just sits on top.
Going too light backfires. Two pale patches under the eyes are far more visible in photographs than the shadows were.
On blemishes: exact match
No lightening here at all. A blemish concealer should disappear into your skin tone, otherwise the spot becomes a bright dot instead of a red one.
Texture matters more than shade at this step — something drier and denser, pressed on with a fingertip or a small brush rather than swept in circles.
Colour correctors, used sparingly
- Green neutralises redness — inflammation, visible capillaries
- Peach or orange cancels blue shadows and dark marks on deeper skin
- Lavender evens out sallowness
Correctors go under foundation, in tiny amounts, only where the discolouration is. They are a targeted tool, never a full-face layer.
Buying without a tester

What concealer will not do
Dark circles caused by poor sleep or dehydration can be covered, not fixed. Persistent pigmentation or acne that keeps coming back is worth a doctor's opinion rather than another tube.
